Job Description

The job's main function is supporting the day to day operations of the legal research and production departments. Emphasis on performing daily/ongoing assignments to client specifications and to support Legal Research Manager and Director of Operations.

Essential job duties are as follows:

· Perform the department’s daily subscription services

· Conduct civil/criminal name searches according to specifications/deadlines of the client

· Prepare search reports of the civil/criminal name searches upon completion

· Process document retrieval requests according to specifications/deadlines of the client

· Record keeping of direct costs in performing duties listed above

Qualifications

· Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience, BS preferred

· Familiarity with DE court system and/or experience working in the legal industry a must

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and adapt to changing priorities

· Attention to detail, a great attitude, and hard work ethic are a must

· Must be detailed oriented

· Ability to work in a professional manner under pressure, and handle difficult situations with a consistently calm, positive demeanor
