Senior Manager, Demand Generation Programs

The Senior Manager, Demand Generation Programs is a high-impact role that is critical to revenue generation. Utilizing a variety of strategies and tactics, the Senior Manager, Demand Generation Programs will drive integrated demand generation programs to support bookings objectives, focusing on top-of-funnel lead acquisition, as well as lead nurturing to generate MQLs for the sales organization.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee all forms of lead generation: webinars, events, content syndication, paid social advertising, PPC, display and retargeting, sponsored email, etc.
  • Drive keyword selection, ad creative, landing pages, offer descriptions, publications, targeting criteria, budget, etc.
  • Align programs with overall marketing and content strategy.
  • Oversee all aspects of lead nurturing, lead scoring, funnel management and optimization.
  • Collaborate with sales to define effective lead scoring criteria, lead handoff protocols and SLAs for lead follow up.
  • Direct the creation of display ads, email and landing page templates, graphics, etc.
  • Analyze performance to optimize conversion rates and make data-driven decisions.
  • Create reports for senior management on demand generation program results and effectiveness.
  • Use Marketo to create emails, landing pages and forms that apply industry best practices for increasing conversion.
  • Source and manage outside vendors as needed to fulfill objectives.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field of study.
  • 3-5 years of experience and a proven track record in managing demand generation for a B2B software company.
  • 2 years hands-on Marketo experience. Demonstrated proficiency in creating, executing, and measuring campaigns.
  • 2 years salesforce.com experience as a marketing or standard user. Proficient in campaigns, lead management, list segmentation, reporting.
  • Experience managing PPC programs, webinars, content syndication and sponsored email programs, and proven understanding of related concepts and best practices.
  • Capable of applying optimization best practices to improve performance of ads, email, landing pages, forms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing, reporting, and improving key marketing metrics and making data-driven decisions.
  • Sound understanding of lead scoring, lead nurture, and funnel management concepts.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Effective vendor management and negotiation skills.
