Job Description

We’re looking for a systems-oriented, data-driven marketing automation specialist to be our Marketing Operations Manager.  The Marketing Operations Manager owns and operates all marketing tools and infrastructure to support lead generation and pipeline creation.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Create and manage all Marketo templates, libraries, smart lists, flows, and reports.
  • Set up smart campaigns with all local components in an intuitive and organized structure.  Test, launch, and report on campaigns.
  • Own the contact database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Implement tools and procedures to improve data quality and hygien.
  • Build reports and dashboards to measure, monitor, and optimize the revenue funnel from inquiry to MQL to closed opportunity.
  • Provide oversight in the technical planning and implementation of lead generation, lead nurturing, and lead scoring programs.
  • Manage A|B tests, and continuously optimize email templates, landing pages, and forms.
  • Partner with sales operations to ensure marketo-salesforce integration, lead management, and lead routing.
  • As the Marketo admin, perform system maintenance and configuration, and drive improvements and best practices.
  • Work with outside agencies as necessary for advanced or overflow marketing automation projects.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience working within a marketing function for a technology company.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience using Marketo as an admin user (Marketo certification is a plus).
  • Experience using these features effectively: smart lists, smart campaigns, flow steps, triggers, sales insight, emails, landing pages, forms, template library, asset library, list segmentations and data management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of these advanced Marketo capabilities: lead scoring, lead nurture/customer engagement engine, revenue cycle analytics, forms 2.0.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com as a marketing or admin user; demonstrated understanding of basic CRM concepts such as lead management and lead routing.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating webinar registration pages, forms, and triggered emails, and integrating with larger campaign flow in Marketo and website. Experience using GoToWebinar, WebEx, ON24 (or any major webinar platform) to plan and produce webinars is required.
  • Superior analytical skills.
