Job Description

Position Overview

We’re looking for talented, innovative, smart, passionate C# and .NET developer to join a highly motivated team of engineers responsible for the design and implementation of products and services which produce rich, rewarding online experiences using advanced Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Create designs, code, and tests for company’s websites
  • Estimate implementation of requested features
  • Participate in discussions about website features and operations
  • Work with websites which may be located at a hosting facility or in Windows Azure cloud services
  • Provide feedback to product teams for new product and feature development

Qualifications

 Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years enterprise or consultancy experience in C# and .Net
  • 3+ years experience related to site administration and custom module development for DNN Platform (formerly called DotNetNuke)
  • Strong experience with at least 5 of the following:  ASP.Net, any JavaScript framework, jQuery, single page architecture (SPA), SQL Server, Knockout and JSON
  • Hands-on understanding of Design Patterns, Git Source Control, and cloud services
  • Working knowledge of development and operations tools like New Relic, Pingdom, Fiddler, RedGate, etc.
  • Solid problem-solving skills in a fast-paced work environment

Desirable

  • Hands-on development familiarity with a major social network or other CMS
  • Technical familiarity with cloud services (ideally Windows Azure, but could be Amazon or OpenStack)
  • Able to work independently, yet enjoy and benefit from a collaborative team environment

Required Education

  • Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or related technical discipline
