Job Description

Web Marketing Manager

 

DNN is seeking an experienced, data-driven web marketing expert to oversee the DNN website and optimize its performance as the company's primary demand generation vehicle. The Web Marketing Manager leverages web analytics and applies best practices to attract, engage, and convert visitors to support revenue objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain web page content using CMS tools and basic HTML/CSS. Maintain website image library and other assets.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize website design, content, and performance, in order to increase organic traffic and conversions.
  • Improve all key website metrics including weekly unique visitors, visitor conversion rates, bounce rates, and more.
  • Work with digital agencies to execute an SEO strategy and plan.
  • Use A/B testing and other tools to improve website conversion rates.
  • Drive and oversee initiatives to improve visitor engagement, such as adding online chat, forms, interactive tools, etc.
  • Manage major website projects with outside writers, designers, programmers.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize website design, technical performance and content strategy in order to increase traffic and conversions and improve organic search rankings.

  • Apply industry best practices to website content, layout, UI, and usability.
  • Monitor key metrics, and provide regular analysis to marketing and executive team. 
  • Ensure proper connection of website with other systems such as CRM, cloud services, etc.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experiences:

  • BA/BS in marketing, business, statistics or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a digital marketing manager for a software company, with responsibility for website management, web analytics, optimization, and SEO.
  • Proficiency with website technologies, web CMS, and HTML and CSS coding abilities. Javascript knowledge is a plus.
  • Proven track record of effective website management and increasing website traffic and visitor conversion.
  • Ability to establish, monitor, and report standard web marketing metrics.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Google Analytics to monitor traffic, traffic sources, conversions, events, etc.
  • Familiarity with conversion rate optimization concepts and designing and conducting A/B tests using tools such as Optimizely.
  • 1 year of search engine optimization (SEO) experience and familiarity with key “white hat” approaches including keyword research, organic link-building and content strategy.
  • Superior analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Salesforce and Marketo experience is a plus.
