Dailymotion is one of the world’s leading video-sharing platforms. It attracts over 300 million unique visitors and 3 billion videos views worldwide per month by offering the best content from users, independent content creators and premium partners. 
As part of its growing activities, Dailymotion is looking to enforce its programmatic and monetization product by building its own video ad stack to deliver new monetization solution for its own ecosystem around online, mobile and TV, and provide innovative marketing solutions for advertisers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Interaction Designers are expected to consider the project from a high level and how the recommended solution fits into an overall service design objective, but they must also consider the fine details of user interaction components, labels, and flows to help users achieve their goals. Interaction designers should be comfortable understanding and communicating complex products and designing for a variety of platforms

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• design end-to-end experiences using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, user interviews, usability testing, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative research to uncover insights, learn about user behaviour and verify design concepts.
• translate concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity. Utilize industry design standards and best practices to define and implement design criteria, design guidelines, and design specs
• Work closely with Squad Lead to plan, prioritize, coordinate, and conduct user requirements analysis, task analysis, conceptual modelling, interaction design, and usability testing.
• Produce user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flow diagrams, wireframes, design prototypes, and design specifications.
• Work closely with engineers to manage the design process, drive decisions, track design issues and ensure that design specifications are implemented.
• Collaborate effectively with remote team members, including designers, researchers, engineering, product management, marketing, and others
• Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.

• 5+ years in-depth knowledge and experience of user interface design of digital products, preferably with a focus on console, dashboard and administration tools across multiple platforms.
• experience applying user-centered design processes while working with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and user research
• Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas
• Creative problem-solver with the ability to work with a blank slate and inspire others
• Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
• Knowledge of web-based technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions a plus
• Must be organised, analytical, and dynamic
• Bachelor degree in a design-related discipline a plus
