We are looking for a software engineering intern to join our dynamic team for 6 months and work on an exciting back-end data migration and scalability project. You will be involved in various software engineering cycles from design through deployment with the opportunity to work on highly visible projects within Dailymotion.  

About the Team 

The scale team in Dailymotion is a world class back end engineering team responsible for building and maintaining Dailymotion’s metadata API at scale. All dailymotion services use this API to to launch a video player or to recommend what to watch next. With more than 3 billion views per month this API has to run smoothly, quickly be always anvailable and secure! 

You will essentially be coding in python and go.

• Requirements gathering and technical specifications 

• Software development of various components 

• Testing and integration 

• Deployment and maintenance 

You will be paired with experienced software engineers to hone your skills and learn about our business and software. 

Your initial mission would be to create and enhance our data migration management tools. (controlling our databases and data mapping components).
