We are looking for a Front End Engineer to join the User Experience Engineering Craft.
At Dailymotion, our craft is responsible for building and maintaining user-facing Native applications (iOS, Android, Windows), smart TVs and www.dailymotion.com website (mobile and desktop).
At Dailymotion, we care about our users and want to ensure we are adding value to the product. Teams are assembled per project (or feature) determined by the skills required. This means working closely with Product, Design, QA and Core (API) teams. It really is a collaborative effort to provide real meaningful changes to the website.
We’re also working hard to keep up to date with the latest technologies, researching how library updates or new frameworks could help solve real world problems that we are facing. You’ll be encouraged to share your ideas for improvements with the team and help us shape our technical roadmap together.
- Develop new user-specific functionalities/features for all devices: desktop, tablets and mobile web.
- Optimize the current codebase and maintain it while proposing new evolutions for our framework.
- Enforce best practices (tests, coding guidelines, continuous deployment).

- Experience with React or Vue Frameworks
- GraphQL and Apollo Client knowledge is a plus
- TypeScript is a plus
- NPM, Yarn, Webpack Minimum
- 2 years of experience working within a similar environment (e.g., huge traffic website)
- Responsive design, mobile first approach
- Best practice orientated
- Test driven (we’re using Cypress and Jest/Enzyme),
- Passion for web development
- Motivated, proactive & team player
- Excellent communication skills in English as we are a super fun international team
- GitHub account with side projects is a plus
