Job Description

We are looking for a UX Research to help us better understand our users and improve the digital product experience of our B2C and B2B platforms. You will be part of our User Research team, globally dispersed; which collaborates closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers. 

Be the go-to expert on our users and business partners; their needs, behaviors, experiences, and pain points, knowing where to focus to most effectively improve our end-to-end product experience.  It is an exciting time at Dailymotion as we look to transform our global digital offering. 


  • Work on end-to-end experiences with a focus on user needs and business goals. Analyze data from qualitative studies including usability tests, interviews and heuristic evaluations. 

  • Translate complex design problems into testing hypotheses and working iteratively with product designers 

  • Explore different ways to solve problems, identifying pros & cons, questions, implications. 

  • Identify the best method based on research goals, resources and timelines 

  • Work together with product managers and product designers to embed actionable user insight into the product discovery, design and build processes 

  • Stay up-to-date on the current and best research and product design practices and trends


  • 1-3 years of previous experience within a similar User Research role is mandatory 

  • Strong knowledge about a variety of research techniques & processes, particularly around user experience e.g. usability testing, personae, card sorting, journey mapping, surveys. 

  • Experience in conducting usability testing and user interviews, been actively involved in the end-to-end research process (planning, design, recruitment, conducting research, analysis, stakeholder engagement). 

  • Synthesize research findings and to uncover and articulate insights that will inform and inspire design. 

  • Communicate and present research findings, conceptual ideas and research rationale both written and verbally 

  • Enjoy working collaboratively as a cross-functional team 

  • Autonomous and proactive, take ownership and like to problem solve 

  • Adaptability and eager to learn from your peers 

  • Fluent in English and French
