Joining the Dailymotion engineering team means deploying cutting-edge video technologies on a global scale and taking on technical challenges to develop innovative products and services.

As an iOS Senior Developer, you will play an important role in driving the development of new features and enhancements for our iOS application. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate requirements into technical specifications and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software. 

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in hands-on development, writing clean, maintainable code while adhering to best practices and architectural guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, prioritize tasks, and plan sprints to meet project deadlines
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, including performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and compatibility issues, to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and security standards are met, and providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in iOS development, evaluating new tools and frameworks, and advocating for their adoption when appropriate.
• Work closely with QA engineers to define test cases and ensure thorough testing of new features, troubleshooting issues, and addressing bugs as needed.

•  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in iOS application development, with a strong focus on Swift and the iOS SDK.
• Proven track record of leading iOS app features development, preferably in the video streaming or multimedia industry.
• Deep understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices, with a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks and libraries, including UIKit, AVFoundation, Core Media, and Core Animation.
• Proficiency in writing unit tests and UI tests.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Git, JIRA, or similar. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with video playback and video encoding/transcoding technologies and standards (e.g., H.264, HEVC).
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong presence in the iOS developer community.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Fastlane, or Bitrise.
