DataStax is seeking a positive, smart, proactive Marketing Operations Manager to join our fast-paced, lively and fun marketing team and support the company's lead generation efforts. The Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for end-to-end marketing operations, including: executing marketing campaigns through Marketo and Salesforce, managing contact and data strategy, and developing marketing effectiveness dashboards and reporting.  In addition…

 

  • Run our marketing automation system, including system administration, creation and maintenance of email marketing campaign set up and performance evaluation of campaign activity
  • Optimize lead qualification for sales and ensure successful follow-through of qualified leads
  • Initiate and execute the internal process for lead management, ensuring that all qualified leads are delivered to the appropriate sales manager at the right time
  • Collaborate with others in marketing and sales to utilize the website as a strategic demand generation tool, driving conversion from visitors to leads
  • Create, own, and drive repeatable lead nurturing programs to move prospects through the marketing and sales pipeline
  • Manage, monitor and update lead scoring

 

Qualifications

 

The stuff you’ll need to succeed:

 

  • Minimum 4-6 years managing marketing campaigns from start to finish - strategy, execution and measurement - and deep expertise with Marketo
  • Strong experience with Salesforce.com
  • A proven track record of success in demand generation, devising and executing integrated marketing campaigns, and driving sales growth through qualified lead generation
  • Ability to think strategically as well as willingness to roll-up-the sleeves and do 'whatever it takes' to meet individual and company goals
  • Results-driven with exceptional detail and knowledge around metrics, specifically A/B testing and ROI analysis
  • Understanding of HTML, basic image editing functions
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; with 3-5 years related experience and/or training
  • Adaptable, with ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines, work in a fast paced environment and quickly learn new software applications and tools
  • Experience working with a direct sales team a plus
  • Develops best practice marketing program recommendations
