We are looking for a talented engineer with expertise in making customers successful with industry-leading, innovative technology solutions.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Performing technical and business due diligence to qualify potential opportunities
  • Building integration between DataStax offerings and other platforms and technologies
  • Requirements gathering from partners and customers
  • Effectively scoping a project
  • Build ‘proof of concepts’ and design and recommen the best architectural solutions
  • Perform integration, interoperability, and acceptance testing

Qualifications

The stuff you’ll need to know to do it:

  • 7+ years real world experience
  • System Integration and/or Software Engineer experience
  • Ability to work independently and drive a project to completion
  • Background in software development
  • Proficient in many scripting languages (Java development skills a plus)
  • Database experience (OLTP and/or Data Warehousing)
  • Cassandra, NoSQL, Hadoop, and/or Solr experience desirable
  • Working knowledge of various cloud technologies and architectures
  • Up to 20% travel
