Job Description
Dataiku is looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our sales team in San Francisco. Since we launched Dataiku US in April 2015, we've experienced healthy growth and steady market demand. Due to business expansion, this new individual position incorporates responsibility for an extensive west territory.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the new technologies and possibilities of Big Data and Advanced Analytics. The role consists of engaging with prospects and customers about their Big Data and Advanced Analytics initiatives and helping them develop a more efficient approach by leveraging our software. The Sales Executive will be responsible for the entire sales cycle - from prospection to closing.
Dataiku is a young company with great momentum and a company culture that encourages cross-functional collaboration. Therefore, the Account Executive is likely to work closely with Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in software field sales
- Strong belief in a customer centric selling philosophy and applying a consultative approach in customer interactions
- The ability to understand, dissect, and analyse a prospect's pain points to better develop a fitting solution
- Background in selling innovation and new concepts to large enterprises
- Strong ability to develop a vision match with prospects and customers, to develop alignment across different groups
- Good articulation of competitive positioning
- Travel 30 to 50%
