Job Description

Role Definition/Responsibilities

The Salesforce.com Administrator will be responsible for managing the David Suzuki Foundation's CRM.
Including but not limited to the following responsibilities:

Administration

  • All aspects of database maintenance and security for the David Suzuki Foundation's
  • database of record, implemented on the Salesforce.com platform
  • Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users
  • Develop reports, dashboards and processes to continuously monitor data quality and
  • integrity
  • Develop reports, dashboards and processes to continuously monitor key performance
  • indicators
  • Structure data to support the objectives of the David Suzuki Foundation

Training and Documentation

  • Develop training plans, materials, and documentation for database users, keep materials up-to-date, coordinate new user and ongoing training sessions organization wide
  • Assist users with report design and management
  • Assist users with dashboard design and management

Platform Integration

  • Work with Digital Strategy team to integrate all online properties into the Salesforce.com database
  • Perform ongoing maintenance of database integrations, outsource as required
  • Manage the importing of data from various platforms

Vendor Management

  • Manage outsourced Salesforce.com implementation partners as required

Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Certified Salesforce.com Administrator
  • 2+ years experience database administration, preferably in the Salesforce.com environment
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience with data management for email marketing, preferably in the Salesforce.com
  • environment
  • Data manipulation and cleansing experience, preferably within Salesforce.com
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong documentation and training skills
  • Advanced MS Office Skills
  • Experience with donor databases and database integration with various web platforms
  • Experience with APEX coding a bonus
  • Experience in a non profit environment a bonus

Additional Information

This role is based in our Vancouver office and is part-time at 17 hours a week.  It is an initial six month contract with the possibility of extension.
