As a Sr. Front End Engineer at Daxko, your primary responsibility will be to craft user experiences that set our products apart from the competition by truly understanding our customer’s needs and delivering valuable solutions to market problems. You will help shape the vision for groundbreaking applications that affect millions of people in their daily health and fitness routines.

You will also:

• Work in a fun and fast-paced environment.
• Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, QA, and support.
• Communicate with different stakeholders such as QA, Project Managers, and Product Owners
• Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Groom, mentor and upskill team members with modern technologies and development practices.

• 6-8 Years of relevant experience in front-end development.
• At least 3-4 years of working experience with the React ecosystem.
• In-depth knowledge of TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Strong proficiency in Vanilla JavaScript, DOM, Browser APIs, and ES6 Features.
• Strong Knowledge of State Management with React and relevant workflows.
• Good Understanding of Modern frontend workflows with NPM, Webpack, Babel, etc.
• Knowledge of modern programming paradigms like functional and reactive programming.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks including Jest, Enzyme, Chai, Mocha, and React Testing Library or equivalent.
• Experience with using browser-based dev tools for troubleshooting and enhancing performance.
• Detail-oriented, manages time and objectives effectively.
• Excellent communicator in person, on the phone, in email.
• Loves testing out new approaches, knows how to measure the impact and adjust.
• A positive attitude and a passion for working with strong, collaborative teams. 
• Not afraid of conflict – able to check your ego at the door for the benefit of the product and team.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies—Scrum in particular.
• Demonstrated ability to work with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand, analyze, and document requirements.
• Ability to use wireframing tools to prototype new functionality.
• Strong visual design skills.
• Strong interaction design skills.
• Knowledgeable with web frameworks such as Bootstrap, and iOS and Android human interface guidelines including Android material design.
• Experience in user research and testing.
