Deibel Laboratories is a private food testing facility providing services in both Microbiology and Chemistry testing. Our location in South San Francisco, CA is currently looking to hire a full-time Laboratory Technician for our Media Department for Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM. Seeking a motivated and hard-working individual to make the daily media for lab use. Candidate will make media by following Standard Operating Protocols. Candidate will check volumes and pH of media and record all information with Good Documentation Practices on assigned forms. Candidate must work with autoclaves, peristaltic pumps, pH meters, and balances throughout the day.  

1. Must be able to multitask and work efficiently in an independent manner

2. Must be able to communicate effectively with upper management and laboratory staff

3. Must be able to lift 10 pounds repeatedly with both hands and up to 50 pounds with both hands

4. Must be self motivated and have a "can-do" attitude and be willing to work hard

5. Must have some college course work or AA degree (include on resume)

6. Must work occasional holidays

7. Must be willing to have a flexible schedule for days that require overtime

8. Must live within 20 miles of the lab. No relocation packages available.
