Position: Data Modeler / Data Analyst

Location:Troy, MI

Duration: 12+ Months

Description:

Responsible for capturing, validating and modeling data identified through business working session with the purpose of understanding and drawing conclusions from data (may be presented in charts, graphs, and/or tables). Also, design and develop relational models for collecting and storing data and build and design data input and data collection mechanisms.

Job Responsibilities

• Experience in data modeling, data management, data warehousing, data transformation, metadata and reference data management

• Experience in managing data models in Erwin

• Solid understanding of the following is required:

Mapping and tracing data from system to system

• Strong team player, excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with both the business and technical teams

• Fast starter, effectively delivers with limited supervision

• Experience with facilitating requirements and/or design meetings

• Ability to multi-task with several concurrent issues and projects

• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization

• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Relational model design, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes
