Job Description

The Marketing and Customer Analytics Analyst is responsible for analyzing and forecasting multiple trends by product, source and market in order to gauge current and future results, trends and business potential. Analyze the results of the data, identify key trends and issues and develop recommendations to upper management.

You will be focused on identifying and prioritizing our highest impact business opportunities and helping our teams make data-driven decisions that help us achieve our marketing objectives and quickly adapt our marketing tactics. Along the way, you’ll play a key role in evolving and growing the data-driven discipline within our team and contribute to our shared success.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

The Marketing and Customer Analytics Analyst will provide analytics capabilities across the business operating model to identify marketing opportunities and help the business manage risk:

• Leverage data and design analytic frameworks to drive loan book and fee services growth.
o Provide in-depth, actionable reporting and insights by product, channel, marketing and risk segments.
• Design marketing segmentation to inform marketing and risk strategies.
• Build product and customer-level reporting to support optimization of marketing spend.
• Work closely with NA Product team to drive efficiency across multiple channels (direct mail, e-mail, phone, online, in-store)
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing customer database with additional data from third-party providers to provide deeper insight into existing customer base.
• Analyze the effectiveness of all marketing programs, and provide recommendations as appropriate.
• Manage the design, implementation and on-going support for new capabilities to acquire new customers, including:
o prescreen and prequalification of marketing offers
o The design of a new customer (prospect) database.

Qualifications

EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree required in Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting or Finance

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical role
• Significant experience with SAS and SQL

SKILLS
• Work independently yet collaboratively
• Ability to effectively communicate findings, analysis, implications, and recommendations to varied stakeholder audiences
• Strong organizational, project management and time management skills
• Must be able to problem solve and adjust priorities with little advanced notice to meet deadlines and requests
• Ability to present complicated analytical material in a concise and compelling manner
• Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office package, specifically a high level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
• Superior analytical ability and spreadsheet modeling skills are required
• Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to interface with multiple levels of management are essential
