The first is to design and execute the prescreen direct mail marketing campaigns to deliver loan volumes according to the marketing plan. This will include working with outside parties including our direct mail agency, the big 3 US credit bureaus, and alternative credit bureaus to identify the most responsive universe with our credit eligible population. The role also includes monitoring results and ensuring campaigns are set up to execute the test and learn agenda. The second responsibility centers on creative development and testing around key product features like price, product benefits, aspirational positioning, and simplifying the call to action.

Job Description

We are transforming ourselves from a single lending product company to a consumer financial services provider capable of meeting the full spectrum of our customer’s liquidity needs. DFC combines the best aspects of a traditional financial services company with the capabilities of a fintech to leverage data broadly for the benefit of our customers.

DFC seeks to expand our US presence outside of our traditional retail store network by building an online installment lending business. The operating model includes prescreen direct mail campaigns that drive customers to the web, where they apply , get an instant decision, and receive loan proceeds disbursed directly into their bank account. In order to succeed, DFC will need to build new capabilities, develop relationships with outside vendors, design a compelling set of products, create a seamless customer experience, and execute an ambitious test and learn agenda with a feedback loop that rapidly incorporates new learnings.

The second responsibility centers on creative development and testing around key product features like price, product benefits, aspirational positioning, and simplifying the call to action. This person will ensure that all marketing collateral is compliant by working with our Legal/Compliance team based on applicable state and federal regulations.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct response channel management and execution of marketing campaigns (primarily direct mail), including planning, targeting, creative development, end-to-end process management, test and learn, reporting, and optimization processes.
Collaborate on re-marketing strategies (e-mail, banner, display, paid) based on direct response campaign results.
• Maintain a creative library of competitive marketing collateral. Create a marketing creative testing strategy, review with appropriate stakeholders on a frequent basis, and collect and communicate testing results.
• Work with analytics team to design tests that allow for the creation of customer segmentation. Incorporate segmentation into campaign execution and creative development.
• Provide a regular view of consolidated results, translating into channel insights, promotional results, and optimization opportunities
• Lead Marketing budget activities including: tracking, processing, reconciliation and reporting of marketing budget and vendor payments to ensure budget utilization and support budget optimization

Qualifications

EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in Communication or Marketing is required

EXPERIENCE
• Min of 4 plus years of marketing experience, direct response marketing required. Social media background is a plus.

SKILLS
• Strategic, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use quantitative and qualitative data and insights to develop and execute customer marketing test and learn strategies
• A track record for driving results through insights
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining tight deadlines
• Energetic and positive attitude, solution-oriented and a customer focus
• Adaptable team player with the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced, frequently changing environment
