Job Description

This is a very exciting time to join the DFC team! The Manager of Strategic Partnerships is accountable for the strategic direction and successful implementation of vendor management strategy to drive business and/or revenue growth and/or improve efficiencies.

What will you do?

  • Drives vendor management solutions to ensure they meet the business needs balanced with a pragmatic and integrated approach to solutions. Able to weigh alternatives, develop approach
    and balance conflicting needs.

  • Builds contract management and negotiation strategy, develops negotiations, personally negotiates, drafts and finalizes complex contracts.

  • Responsible for focus on critical vendors and ensuring contingency plans and exit strategies are in place.

  • Leads the process to access vendor performance, reviews scorecards and analyzes data to provide feedback and make recommendations.

  • Accountable for vendor risk mitigation and management by evaluating and quantifying risks and consulting on risk exposure.

  • Leads projects to successful completion as defined by predetermined project success criteria including those established by the business, capital expenditure and budget requirements.

Qualifications

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, MIS or other related degree; Master’s degree preferred

  • Minimum of 10 plus years of vendor management experience including leadership experience or combination of education, training and experience.

  • Experience in vendor management for large scale development and outsourcing
    partnerships
  • Financial services experience

  • Project management experience
  • Identifies and drives organizational changes needed to adapt to changing customer and market demands.

  • Establishes and commits to long-term business direction and sets meaningful performance objectives that align to values & strategies.

  • Communicates information in a compelling way that drives others to achieve team and firm goals.

  • Executes business and organizational objectives that build and support sustained revenue growth, maximize firm results and effectively leverage people/processes.

  • Aligns communication, accountability, resources & processes to ensure strategic priorities yield measurable and sustainable results.

  • Tenaciously works to deliver team goals with the greatest potential for producing positive business results.

  • Establishes high standards and challenging goals for individual, team and organizational accomplishment.
