Responsible for acquiring paymetnts for debts owed to the company. Receives and post payments to accounts, monitors accounts, and collects debt. and maintains files. Position involves:

• Collection calls and correspondence in a fast paced goal oriented environment.
• Provide customer service as it relates to return check items, securing payment commitments and follow up on missed payments
• Handling a high volume of incoming and out going calls

The successful candidate will possess :

• 3 - 5 year previous collections experience preferred
• Must possess the drive to meet monthly targets
• Must be proficient in the use of Outlook
• Working knowledge of FDCPA
• Must posses strong written and verbal skills
• Must be organized, personable,  and a capable problem-solvers able to over come objections
• Work well alone or as a member of a team
• Must be courteous and professional when dealing with customers, with the ability to be assertive when the situations requires
• Must be able to receive and follow instructions given by management.
• Understands the importance of call management and wrap time.
• Bilingual is a plus
