Company Description

Dynomighty Design is dedicated to putting personal expression in every pocket.
Founded by artist-turned-entrepreneur Terrence Kelleman in 2002, Dynomighty has gone from one man, one design, and $300 to a thriving small business with a full staff and product line thanks to hard work, capitalizing on technology, and a whole lot of ingenuity.

We've got big dreams to bring to life, and we're looking for creative thinkers who love to find unexpected solutions, challenge themselves, and inspire others. Business Development, Wholesale and International Sales

Dynomighty Design products are sold in 1,600+ stores across the US, and more than 60 countries worldwide and we’re still growing. We want to get a Mighty Wallet into every pocket, and need all the creativity we can get.

  • Improve the back-end of our online wholesale module.

  • Research areas and demographics with potential for growth.

E-Commerce

Even for a company that can feel completely different every six months, e-commerce moves fast! There’s no time to stuff envelopes or even begin to figure out how a fax machine works.

  • Develop strategies to improve traffic and orders from the Dynomighty website.

  • Suggest new features or modifications to our current online store.

  • Develop unified branding for micro-sites with international distributors.

  • Learn about and implement new tools to improve security, speed, or customer experience.

Social Media Marketing, Community Management, Event Planning

Social media is a diverse arena that offers many opportunities for engagement with the consumer. It is a layering of interactive opportunities that focus on the particular culture and habits distinct to each social network. We’re looking for someone familiar with the many areas of engagement available, with the creativity to integrate them into a cohesive strategy.

Community management goes a bit deeper. Whereas social media goes into the internet-equivalent of the town square to tell everyone about our products, community management invites them to our clubhouse and encourages them to hang around, and come back with friends#. We want to develop a mighty community of all sorts of people that will really advocate for our brand--fans, artists, patrons, Tyvek devotees, wallet enthusiasts, origami advocates... or anyone who loves creativity!

Event Planning takes things into the real world! We’ve got an arsenal of artists and countless numbers of incredibly creative fans that we’d love to engage in the real world.

Projects can range from developing a cohesive strategy that can be implemented long-term, to individual initiatives on a short-term schedule that engage a particular group of fans, a particular platform, or both!

  • Build the Dynomighty presence on a new social network, or improve our current presence.

  • Coordinate an event at the Dynomighty Studios from ideation to cleanup.

  • Reach out to individuals that personify the Dynomighty logo--”Be Mighty!”--and help them share their story with our fans.

  • Spread the buzz about our brand new Artists’ Collective and help make the site a lovely, exciting place.

  • Cross-network social media initiatives. (ie. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlPJkaUV2n4)

  • SMS campaign, QR code integration, or mobile marketing initiatives (Shopkick, etc)

  • Respond to customer comments on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter.

  • Maintaining online marketing initiatives including YouTube promoted video.

  • Paid ad campaigns and social networking.

Interns in this area will:

  • Work directly with the Dynomighty’s President to maximize all marketing content throughout our current channels.

  • Coordinate with PR to reinforce traditional marketing opportunities.

  • Bringing customer service issues to the Customer Service Manager

  • Proactively seek new initiatives to further market Dynomighty products with new marketing channels.

Qualifications

  • Flexibility
  • Dedication
  • Competence
  • Willingness to contribute to a thriving design company in a big way!
