Job Description

EAD Engineering is looking for an experienced Project Manager for projects in the Food and Beverage/Industrial.  The Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional teams of process/business experts, engineers and configurations specialists to deliver client projects on time, on budget and in scope.  They are also the primary point of contact for our clients from the conception of project(s) through the successful completion.



  • Lead teams, manage clients, understand and perform critical path analysis
  • Responsible for project reporting including utilization, project profitability and project P&L
  • Accountable for project costs, schedules, performance and safety
  • Communications, escalations and resolving complex client issues
  • Acting as point of contact to senior-level client project and executive sponsors
  • Tracking and delivering project metrics
  • Mentoring and coaching team members
  • Report into senior management
  • Lead large, multi-disciplinary projects
  • Perform other related duties as assigned









  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Construction, or Chemical Engineering; and five years of relevant working experience
  • 5 years experience in project management/execution within a fast paced industry
  • Experience in Food Manufacturing or Pharmaceuticals a huge plus
  • High level interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy
  • Ability to manage small to large projects
  • Proficient in executing fast tracked projects
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to meet project deadlines
  • Scope management and client management skills
  • Engineering consulting firm experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, while being capable of interacting effectively with plant operations from the maintenance level through and including the executive level
  • Must have a proven track record of accomplishments as a project manager or lead engineer on industrial projects and be capable of supervising and directing a team of engineers, contractors, and vendors
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task while working on numerous projects simultaneously at various stages of completion
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project required

  • Ability to sit and work at computer or active in a plant environment for an extended period of time
  • Ability to walk up and down numerous flights of steps/ladders multiple times a day, in extreme temperatures and all kinds of weather

  • Periodic weekend, evening, or holidat work as needed
  • Travel required
