The Role

As a Sales Associate in the Go Ahead Tours’ individual sales department, you will play an integral role in helping adults pursue their dreams of seeing the world. In this phone-based sales position, you will be the first point of contact with prospective customers, in addition to maintaining your own pipeline of potential customers. You must be self-motivated, ready to answer detailed questions about our tours’ itineraries and be quick to identify a sales opportunity. As a sales associate you will be given a chance to develop your sales skills prior to taking the next step as a Tour Consultant. 

Travel and prior sales experience are preferred.

In this position you will:

• Be responsible for contacting potential travelers and qualifying their level of interest
• Be enthusiastic in conveying your passion for travel to customers on the phone
• Be persuasive to ensure that potential travelers turn into loyal customers

 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 0-2 years professional experience
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and some travel experience
• Comfortable learning new computer sales software and Microsoft  Office 2010
• Ability to excel in a goal-driven environment
• Hard working, reliable, self-motivated, focused and confident
