Recruitment Coordinator

EF Educational Homestay Programs

Cambridge, MA USA

Start Date: April (Seasonal)

 

Synopsis

Do you have a passion for international education? EF Educational Homestay Programs is looking for coordinators to assist with summer programs on the east and west coasts. 

 

The Role

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to work in many different aspects of this program over a period of 4 to 6 week blocks of time. This is a great “foot in the door” opportunity to full time employment at EF Education. This April -July  role will require you to get out in the field and work closely with our local EF team recruiting host families and networking in communities on either the east or west coast. Field work may include, but not limited to, attending local events, running promotional booths, following up with leads, and assisting with general in-program needs. Administrative tasks related to data entry, approval of student applications, scanning and copying will also be part of the role. You will work as part of a local team in one or more of the communities where we are operating this summer. 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or going into your final year)
  • 0-1 year experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment, show ownership over projects, excellent networking, communication, and problem solving abilities, be flexible. and have a sincere interest for cultural exchange and language learning
  • Willingness to travel is a must. EF will arrange travel and accommodation for coordinators in a local community on either the east or west coast.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

 

Educational Homestay Programs (EHP), EF's non-profit Language Travel division in the United States, is dedicated to the promotion of international understanding through cultural exchange and language learning. EHP allows international students ages 12 to 18 to explore another language and culture during summer homestay and residential programs in the USA lasting two to four weeks. In these escorted group travel programs, daily language lessons are combined with afternoon activities including sightseeing excursions and visits to local attractions.
