Are you passionate about travel and education?

EF Explore America is looking for Tour Directors to lead our student group tours of Washington, D.C., and New York City.

As a Tour Director with EF Explore America, you will play a critical role in making our educational tours an exciting and memorable experience for our students and their teachers. We are seeking charismatic people who are passionate about engaging students in experiential learning and delivering the sort of transformative experiences that keep teachers coming back year after year.  

Requirements:

• Present a professional, positive image that inspires confidence & commands respect
• Exceptional organization & time management skills
• Ability to confidently present content knowledge in front of an audience
• Express yourself clearly to the customer while keeping everyone’s best interests in mind
• A commitment to going above and beyond for the customer
• Work from a pre-defined tour schedule to efficiently plan and manage each day’s activities & logistics
• Great problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
• Have an in-depth knowledge of our tour destinations
• Maintain a high level of composure and professionalism in stressful situations
• Strong antenna and an ability to read people and situations

Tour Directing with EF Explore America is seasonal contract work from March through June.  We are currently accepting applications for our 2014-2015 season.
