Synopsis

Go Ahead Tours is looking for a Software Developer to join a new development project to replace our current sales and CRM system. The new system is under construction and uses technologies such as C#, Rest, TypeScript and Azure.


The Role

Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be communicating with all the members of your cross functional team. You should know or be willing to learn TypeScript, Handlebars, Sass and Azure. You should be well versed in C#, ASP.NET MVC, CSS and JavaScript.

 

You should know how to construct clean maintainable code in all layers of the application with a focus on the and also be able to work on a team which you will learn from and share knowledge with.

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate has:

  • A BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 2-6 years of professional software development experience
  • Ability to rapidly learn new languages and technologies
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented concepts is required
  • Experience with object oriented JavaScript, JSON and Rest
  • Passionate about the web experience and web technologies (CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, HTML5)
  • Experience working on agile team is a plus
