Synopsis

Go Ahead Tours is looking for a Web Developer to join our fun and energetic team.  As a member of a smaller division within a larger company you will be an integral player in driving the business forward. You will work on creating an amazing experience across all devices for our customers through frontend development and some backend development.

The Role

Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be communicating with all the members of your cross functional team. You should be well versed in the latest JavaScript frameworks, CSS3, responsive development, Razor and C#.

You should know how to construct clean maintainable code and also be able to work on a team from whom you will learn and share knowledge.

The ideal candidate has:

• A BS in Computer Science or related field
• 3-6 years of professional software development experience
• An expert understanding of frontend web development (CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, Sass)
• Ability to create pixel perfect pages from Photoshop mockups
• Experience with building single page applications
• Comfortable working closely with a UX/IA team
• Prior experience with responsive layout development
• Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues, from IE7 and Firefox 3.5 to modern browsers and mobile devices
• Experience with C# or another object oriented programing language
• Experience with git, or other source control tools.
• Ability to rapidly learn new languages and technologies
• Experience working on agile team is a plus
