Synopsis
Do you love to negotiate and find motivation in delivering a great customer experience at a great value? Do you possess exceptional organizational skills and a knack for logistics and planning? If so, you might be a great fit for an Area Manager position in our Operations Department, which produces a large volume of student group tours of North America for EF Explore America and EF Educational Tours.

The Role
This role is based in our Cambridge, MA office. You will manage our relationship with service providers in the New York City area- with whom we partner to produce our tours (such as restaurants, attractions and museums). Key responsibilities include: negotiation of annual service contracts, site visits, booking and planning of tour services, support to groups on tour and cost forecasting to set budgets and pricing. You should enjoy a fast-paced environment and be motivated by the attainment of goals that focus on both minimizing cost and the overall quality of the customer experience. A strong interest in, or any personal experience with, North American travel is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
• Adept at relationship management, negotiations and data analysis
• Languages: English
