Synopsis
Do you have a passion for international travel and student exchange? Do you work well under pressure? Are you detail oriented, deadline driven as well as a great team player. If so, you might be an ideal Travel Support Coordinator for the High School Exchange Year Travel Support Team.

The Role
As a Travel Support Coordinator, you will support many aspects of travel for foreign exchange students from over 15 countries to and from their American host families. In this fast-paced and dynamic position you will have daily interaction with local office staff, foreign sales office staff, and volunteer field staff. The ideal candidate is flexible and dedicated to teamwork. Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and enthusiasm about student exchange are essential to this position. Experience in a customer service-oriented field is a plus. Prior international/travel experience preferred.

Note: this is a temporary position with potential to become full-time.

• Ability to manage high volumes of phone calls and emails on a daily basis
• Strong attention to detail & time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and situations simultaneously
• Passion for cultural exchange
• Ability to manage a flexible work schedule
• Knowledge of foreign language beneficial
