Part-time, Home-based Position

Boston, MA

Who are Community Marketing Representatives?

Successful Cultural Care Community Marketing Representatives are solution- oriented individuals based in the greater Boston area (north shore, south shore, metro west, metro Boston) who connect easily with others and are often turned to by friends and family for local referrals.   As a Community Marketing Representative you will spend 10-15 hours per week doing educational outreach to the community about this unique childcare and cultural exchange alternative to traditional daycare and nannies.  

 

Marketing representatives enjoy:

  • Networking and educating the community
  • Identifying and attending community events (e.g. parents' groups, PTA, girl scouts, adoptive parents groups, multiples groups, small business groups, special interest groups etc.)
  • Generating interest and qualifying prospective families
  • Displaying excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills
  • Working with Microsoft Office and Salesforce platforms

 

What do Community Marketing Representatives do?

As a marketing representative you will educate parents about a unique childcare and cultural exchange program through grassroots marketing techniques, social media, PR and personal and professional networking.  You will identify and attend local parenting and networking events to generate referrals and interest by:

 

  • Using current networks and relationships to generate interest in the community
  • Networking and branding program locally 
  • Evaluating the suitability of potential host families in coordination with government regulations
  • Providing the highest level of customer service to all families and parties throughout the educational process
  • Participating in potential weekly and/or monthly training opportunities and professional development for field-based representatives
  • Placing advertisements, participating in grassroots marketing, developing community networks, utilizing online resources and social media to promote program awareness and develop opportunities
  • Managing day-to-day administrative responsibilities associated with role

Qualifications

  • Prior experience or involvement with sales, marketing and/or local parenting community required
  • High energy personality that is goal oriented and can work independently
  • Home office & high speed internet
