• Experience in Active Directory infrastructure, primary network services (TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, etc.) and networked based applications such as, Exchange, SQL, anti-malware, backup and disaster recovery systems (BDR).
• Operating System security rights, privileges, user and patch management as well as hardening techniques. 
• Hardware Installation, configuration, firmware update and troubleshooting.
• Daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network operations including backups, server operations, security, anti-virus and LAN/WAN network integrity.
• Performs system administration duties including user account maintenance, installation of patches and upgrades. Maintains software and hardware on servers, workstations, LAN/WAN and other equipment.
• Order, Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, Windows networks, file servers, Ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems; adds or upgrades and configures disk drives, printers, plotters, and related equipment.
• Develop and conduct various training and instruction for system users on operating systems, relational databases, and other Microsoft applications; assist users in maximizing use of networks and computing systems

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Position requires considerable decision-making capability. Ability to evaluate and act on a wide variety of technical situations.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in system administration, including server and help desk support
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and work well with people.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science OR related field OR equivalent experience
• MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) OR equivalent experience
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator) OR equivalent experience

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience administering Microsoft Cloud and VMware solutions.
• Experience administering SAN/NAS solutions, preferably EMC
• Experience with Business Continuity, Backup and Disaster Recovery
• Security+ OR equivalent experience
• Manage and maintain VoIP phone systems
• Linux+ Certification OR equivalent experience
• Experience with communications equipment and cabling
• Other related experience and/or certifications a plus
