Job Description
Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service.
- Manage air import shipments from pickup to arrival and update the customer timely.
- Coordinate with airlines, Origin offices, customs brokers, and internal departments.
- Provide exceptional service to clients, ensuring their shipments are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide timely updates on shipment status.
- Monitor and report shipment milestones and proactively address delays or exceptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in air import customer service and operations, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Global logistics industry knowledge
- Good computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word...)
- Team player with strong organizational and time management skills
- Customer-focused with a proactive and problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Fluent in English
