The Bob Hope Veterans Support Program provides one-on-one employment support services, as well as referrals to other resources, to assist veterans transitioning out of the military into a civilian job or with starting their own small business. The objective is to help veterans and their family members successfully integrate back into communities and pursue healthy, productive lives. We also provide this service to spouses/registered domestic partners of veterans.

Responsibilities:

· Supporting individual veterans seeking employment to assist in defining and achieving meaningful employment.

· Collaborating with employers and veteran service organizations.

· This is NOT a human resources, counseling, trainer or supervisory position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Established relationships with San Diego area veteran resource providers and experience in:

· Military service (priority given to veterans)

· Successful work transition history

· Employment support services

· Veteran community involvement

· Pre-existing connections with a wide variety of San Diego area employers

· Business ownership or development

· Detailed administrative skills and record keeping

Pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.  Submit letter of interest, resume and salary history.
