Ordering food by phone presents so many hassles, it can ruin your appetite. Getting put on hold. Crappy cell reception (we're not naming names, carriers). Not being able to communicate with the person on the other end. Reading your credit card digits over the phone. Receiving your order only to find they got it wrong.

Job Description

Do you gravitate toward helping clients the way breadsticks gravitate toward dipping sauces? Is there just something about invoicing and reporting that speaks to your heart? If we asked you to name your top three qualities, would you name four? This could be the start of something beautiful. Eat24 is looking for an Account Manager that could manage Justin Bieber’s lunch order while being on the phone with Miley Cyrus about her dinner plans. Basically we need you to rock at providing top-notch service to numerous restaurant accounts across the country. Each account you manage needs to be treated like a VIP, forming and maintaining long-term lasting relationships. You know, like the kind Peanut Butter and Jelly have had for years.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Onboarding Support (training, documentation and product updates)
  • Keep and maintain the value/revenue stream of our existing relationships
  • Providing advanced technical support for restaurant partners
  • Improve and increase the value of our partner restaurants through analysis and consultation discussions resulting in informed recommendations.
  • Know the ins and outs of our service so you can recommend additional products and services to customers to help reach their goals.
  • Help our partners meet and exceed their goals.

Qualifications

  • Account Management Experience
  • Know the ins and outs of the restaurant industry
  • Strong ability to stay focused and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment (being able to ignore the smell of pizza is a huge plus)
  • Know how to use and work on a computer more than just playing Oregon Trail.
  • Multi-lingual in Cantonese, Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish is a humungous plus
  • Have a strong voice and excellent communication skills, especially on the phone.
  • Have a sense of humor (Seriously, food puns go a long way here)
