The Mechanic provides guidance and technical direction in the resolution of problems associated with maintenance and facilities. Reports to the Facilities Manager.

• Ensures that jobs are completed efficiently within regulatory guidelines and projected deadlines
• Inspects repair work, projects, equipment, work orders, daily maintenance and supplies for the purpose of ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently
• Assists the Facilities Manager in maintenance projects (e.g., site repairs/construction, preventive maintenance, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring completion within established time frames, project design and budget
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

• Maintenance or technician experience 
• Capability to set up preventive maintenance for all aspects of buildings
• Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints
• Sense of urgency
• Excellent communication skills
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
• Knowledge in HVAC, Plumbing and Refrigeration highly preferred

Job Requirements

• Availability to work a flexible schedule onsite at our 24-hour operating facility
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
• Ability to operate carts, hand trucks and other facilities and cleaning equipment

Compensation: This position offers a base pay of $20–$25 per hour
