Job Description

We are currently seeking a Director of Operations with great leadership and organizational skills to help oversee an operations team of operations managers, maintenance staff, and a team of part time/front line cast members to keep the facility running smoothly.   Direct responsibility for weekly plans for shifts and oversee our bowling, laser tag, and arcade attractions. This department also supports the execution of parties, groups, and special events. The successful candidate will typically work 45-48 hours per week with two days off per week. This position will have a set schedule with the majority of the hours being weekday with some weekend work . This position reports directly to the General Manager and Owner. This position is one of four leadership positions on our team so it will require working well with others in a leadership role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Illustrate a guestcentric approach

-Anticipating and delivering the needs of our guests

-Leading by example

-Oversee cash handling and daily report reconciliation

- Be able to manage and motivate your team of operations managers to perform the needed duties of the business and maintain a high degree of quality to our work

-Work with young, front line workers to motivate and coach them

-Participating in weekly management and operations planning meetings 

-Maintaining an impeccable level of cleanliness and curbside appeal throughout the property

-Continually develop and implement ideas that improve guest satisfaction and staff morale

 

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, proven management experience

-Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook

-Ability to lift 25 lbs or more

-Ability to stand for extended periods of time

- Have a working knowledge and comfort with technology

- Aptitude to learn and master unique systems within our operation

- Mechanically inclined is a plus

- Food and beverage experience a plus

COMPENSATION

$40,000 to $45,000 starting salary commensurate with experience

Guaranteed bonus program each year.   Additional bonus program tied to performance.

Paid vacation, health insurance, and personal days.
