Sr. Director - Enterprise Applications & Business Intelligence

Summary:

Senior management position responsible for managing the global teams supporting ERP & Business Intelligence. They will assume the role of strategic leader for the purpose of business/IT strategy development, solution discovery/execution, service management and Business Relationship Management (BRM). Directly responsible for steering the future of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP and Business Intelligence instances globally with a particular focus on Manufacturing & Operations. Always looking for ways to advance the company’s capabilities to provide competitive advantage must have the ability to collaborate with the Business leaders, their staff, global IT community, customers, and suppliers, to define, justify, and deliver a portfolio of IT investments and services to achieve short and long-term business objectives and. Leads and aligns corporate strategy with business and technology strategy, Information Technology initiatives and activities, which include information delivery and operational support. Provides leadership that teaches, inspires and promotes employee empowerment and career development and creates a culture of personal responsibility and accountability for results.  


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

• Requires depth in business process design and re-engineering; operational reporting systems; integrated process, data flow, and systems design.

• Experienced in Business and IT organizational design, operating models, management practices, and metrics; IT service approaches (ex: SaaS); business case development; financial modelling and budgeting; large-scale program management; portfolio management; account management/ business relationship management; and governance.

• 15+ year experience in positions of increasing responsibility in Business and IT having achieved Director-level in a $1B+ business (High Tech/Manufacturing/Consumer Goods/Design industry preferred) with at least five years in senior IT management (ex: account management/business relationship management (BRM), program management, application development); IT Strategy and planning in a complex multi-region business. Typically has 5 - 8 years of technology and people management and related management experience.

• Requires strong domain knowledge in Manufacturing functional areas and the supporting technology architecture, and experience in implementing related technology Applications 

• Significant Expertise in global JDE EnterpriseOne:

o Manufacturing

o Supply Chain

o Warehouse Management/Shipping

o Advanced planning/Scheduling/Forecasting

o Mobile/RF
