You will inspire others to self -organize on a foundation of trust, and coach teams on agile behaviors. You will work daily with software, infrastructure and operations engineers that ultimately impact how our customers interact with our technology and the brands.

The ideal candidate is an agile evangelist (not a zealot) with a history of managing teams and projects in software development and infrastructure departments. 

Familiarity with process management, scrum, lean Kanban and technical conversations are keys to successfully gaining credibility and achieving performance-based results. Other responsibilities include:

Overall leadership and team guidance on Agile practices

Facilitate iteration structure with Agile practices

Lead continuous improvement with ideas and actions

Capture and broadcast metrics for defined time periods

Forecast and plan work across multiple teams, projects and sprints

Facilitate team planning and backlog grooming

Protect team from external or internal stimuli that negatively impact workflow

Onboard and train new members

Display leadership in agile community with education and as a source of support

Ensure teams take time to address technical debt and self-development

Track and ensure visibility of performance and progress of sprint

Partner with managers to prioritize work and deconstruct stories

Facilitate planning meetings, spikes and collaboration between teams

Proactively identify and remove blockers and limit work in progress

Employ situational awareness and sensitivity to maintain a voice of reason

Make recommendations on solutions and issues using systems thinking


Minimum Qualifications

4-year degree from an accredited university or applicable work experience

7+ years IT experience in infrastructure or software development

5+ years Scrum Master experience with multiple simultaneous teams

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certificate or equivalent education

Experience working with geo-distributed teams in various time zones

Experience managing multiple agile teams with at least 10 team members

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Atlassian Jira tool - filters, dashboards and Kanban boards
