Job Description:

Strong understanding of Bigdata concepts and various Hadoop architectures

 Strong knowledge on PIG,HIVE, MapReduce etc.

 Able to architect hadoop solutions and responsible for planning, design and development of platform features/capabilities leveraging hadoop and bigdata related technologies

 Strong understanding of Data warehouse concepts, and have data modeling experience

 Good written and Verbal communication skills in English

 Experience both as a software developer and lead

 Solid understanding of large scale data storage concepts.

 ElaticSearch, Hadoop, Kafka, Zookeeper, Spark, NoSQL, Storm

 Experience with very large data sets 

 Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile development methodology

 Proven understanding and related experience with Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, Hbase and/or Map/Reduce

 Basic UNIX OS working skills and Shell Scripting skills

 Excellent RBMS (Oracle, Netezza, SQL Server) knowledge for development using SQL/PL SQL.

 Hands on Experience in Oozie Job Scheduling.

 Should have hands on experience in Storm or similar technologies
