The EFTI Education Manager has deep industry experience and is a key subject matter expert for the advancement of movement, nutrition, regeneration, behavior change coaching, business development, and other topics relating to our elevated personal training model. Having demonstrated mastery in the science and practice of personal training, as well as gained broad respect of peers and leaders, they will own specific curriculum development as well as assist the Director of Education in creating, vetting, and optimizing virtual / live coursework and continuing education workshops. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and experience needed to support the rollout of various projects. In line with the expanded role of EFTI, the education manager will collaborate with other ancillary departments to progress our standard of educational excellence and MNR strategy across all employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide pivotal support in the redesign, optimization, and creation of Tier 1-3+ curricula and special programming via content development, expert collaboration and vetting / editing of materials
• Design presentations with on-brand formatting using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Collaborate with T&D manager to apply learning and development strategies to enhance content delivery and engagement
• Support the T&D manager in the creation of content-specific education to support both Master Instructor and Fitness Manager development
• Own the on-boarding of new Master Instructors and Fitness Managers to new curricula and program initiatives
• Work with the personal training operations team to identify and address the needs of the PT department
• Develop of curated EFTI education for other ancillary departments; Pilates, Spa, Group Fitness, and Membership Advisors
• Contribute to the progression & roll-out of Equifit content and execution
• Identify trends and needs within the industry and own the creation of educational material

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in a related field; Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Etc.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a personal trainer and / or Fitness / Personal Training Manager
• Exceptional content mastery support by formal education in topics relating to movement, nutrition, regeneration, behavior coaching and business development
• Diversified continuing education experience
• Experience designing and leading education within a club with the intent to drive specific knowledge, skills, or abilities
• Proven leader in promoting and applying the M N R strategy while working with clients
• High level of comfort in the design and creation of presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and or Excel
• Prior experience presenting in a large workshop setting preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think in terms of a diverse learning audience and skill level

• Desire to be hands on in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment

• Adaptable to changing job responsibilities and or new project ownership
• Ability to learn quickly and organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work autonomously
