Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (A CMMI Level 3 Company) is a 100% full owned subsidiary of Eurofins. Job Description

Position Title :                     Associate Software Engineer

WORKING LOCATION:       Bangalore (India)

OVERALL OBJECTIVES:

The Global HR Solutions team delivers capabilities to the Eurofins Group worldwide, and encompasses multiple state-of-the-art platforms in the sector of HR and Recruitment, such as Smartrecruiters (one of the world’s leading platforms for recruitment), and associated integrated applications (Cubiks, relationwise, etc.) SuccessFactors (Learning platform), internal platforms (e.g. recruitment portals, career pages, HR webs…) and third party application connectors (e.g. LinkedIn).

The Associate Software Engineer of the Global HR Solutions team will be responsible for the IT systems within this Eurofins’ group company at global scale, and will report directly to the Head of Global HR Solutions. The selected candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the Global HR Solutions roadmap, including the deployment of maintenance and evolution projects, as well as the support of the existing capabilities. To conduct this task, the selected candidate will liaise with a team of > 45 people including business and IT professionals at a global scale.

Among his/her responsibilities, the selected candidate will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the Global HR Solutions, support and facilitate the adoption of new processes, solutions, and tools, by the key business stakeholders, and liaise when needed with the global and local HR partners.

MAIN ASSIGNMENTS

Overall Leadership

  • Focus on Stakeholder Management and Risk Management with both internal stakeholders (global and local HR partners, other global IT Teams) and external (SmartRecruiters, SuccessFactors, Relationwise) partners;
  • Ensure appropriate and timely delivery of the implementation projects;
  • Capacity to communicate with the executives involved in the GHRS program, including Steering Committee (sponsored by the Eurofins Group CIO and Eurofins Group Global Head of Communications), the HR leads in each country, as well as the global and local HR Teams;
  • Support to the coordination of Eurofins Global HR Solutions IT Practice;
  • Support to the design of the strategic roadmap;
  • Support Implementation and roll-out of the tools owned by Global HR Solutions.

Technical Areas of Responsibility

  • Working with SQL Server and related technologies to allow the creation of and the support of data migrations and transformations;
  • Configuration and support of the HR tools
  • Support for the integration between Eurofins internal platforms (career sites, DMS and sites, etc…) and HR tools;
  • Experience in front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3;
  • Basic experience in transformation technologies such as XML, JSON, CSV and SQL;
  • Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language .NET, JavaScript, JQuery;
  • Basic understanding of “session management” in a distributed server environment.

  • 1-2 years of IT Industry experience

  • Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
  • Understanding of “session management” in a distributed server environment;
  • Understanding of data migration, transformation, and scripting;
  • Experience in the creation of reports in SSRS / other Microsoft technologies;
  • Creating error logging and reporting solutions and delivering to the right stakeholders;
  • Proficient expertise in the preparation and delivery of both functional and technical designs and documentation;
  • Excellent command of Microsoft solutions (MS Office package, MS Project, MS Visio).

  • BE Computer Science/MCA or any other Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with the right experience
