POSITION TITLE (ENGLISH):  Lead Developer (AX)

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

Dynamics AX developer will be responsible for developing/customizing Microsoft AX based on the user requirements from business. .Will be responsible development of interfaces using AIF for interactions between AX and other applications.

This person will need to possess strong overall knowledge of both the functional and technical aspects of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3. Actively promote high quality engineering of the target solutions part of the IT landscape being implemented in the new Eurofins Drug Discovery and Bioanalytics Services business line. Embrace Agile practices and adhere to Eurofins guidelines in all phases of the SDLC;

Job description:

Actively participate in planning and migrating from AX 2012 to D365

1.      Works closely with the Project Manager and other project stakeholders to ensure that all deadlines and deliverables related to architecture / technical aspects of the Dynamics AX implementation are either met or exceeded.

2.      Support or execute data migrations activities in Dynamics AX 2012 environment using the Microsoft Data Migration Framework or other technologies.

3.      Work closely with the functional team and the architect to understand the user requirements and design the solution based on AX best practices..

4.      Perform build and deployment activities to promote the code to higher environments.

5.      Perform unit testing of all the customizations before promoting the code to higher environments and handing over to the quality assurance team.

6.      Strictly follow the best practices defined/identified by the architect and ensure full compliance to the coding practices.

Experience :  8+yrs

Profile description:

Type and duration of previous experience:

·        At least 1 full life cycle implementation of Dynamics AX implementation that includes analysis of the as-is process and design of the system based on the to-be process.

·        Over 7 year of experience installing and/or troubleshooting Dynamics AX.

·        Knowledge of Dynamics AX Architecture (layers, models, tiers, etc.).

·        Ability to install and configure Dynamics AX 2012.

·        Over 5 years of proven expertise customizing Microsoft Dynamics AX (2009 or 2012).

Technical skills required:

• One or more certifications within Dynamics AX.
• Knowledge of finance, trade and logistics and either production or project accounting within Dynamics AX 2012.
• Dynamics AX 2012 development certification.
• Proven project experience with AIF and/or services.

·        Proven project experience modifying or creating new reports.using SQL Server Reporting Services.

• Understanding of Dynamics AX 2012 data structures.

Optional

·        Technical experience with .NET, X++ or other OOP programming language.

·        Understanding of RESTFul services and implementation of web services in AX for supporting integration between SOA applications
