Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (A CMMI Level 3 Company) is a 100% full owned subsidiary of Eurofins. This young captive centre located in Bangalore was established in 2012 to be the largest IT Solutions group within Eurofins to cater to all the internal IT business needs. The primary focus of IT Solution group will be to develop the next generation LIMS (Lab Information Management system), Customer portals, Ecommerce solutions, ERP/CRM system & B2B platforms for various Eurofins Laboratories and businesses.

Position Title:                                             Sr. Manager (Sustenance and Cloud Ops)

Reporting To:                                                Director (Eurofins IT Solutions)                                                                  

Working Location:                                       Bangalore

Overall Objectives:                                     The position shall be responsible for Sustenance engineering, Cloud Ops and Automation for suite of applications for one of the key business line in Eurofins collaborating with global teams

Primary Responsibilities: The role is required to:

1. Strong experience with the ITIL V4 to blend the best practice of ITIL with the worlds of Devops, Agile and lean. Strong experience with post release software maintenance.
2. Build and drive the Cloud ops team on Azure cloud around Site reliability, Observability, build and deployment. Complement and collaborate with the global Cloud ops team
3. Deliver high quality shippable product as per the scope of the program. Understand the key requirements and scope of the project working with Product Owner and Business stakeholders
4. Should have good experience in managing Sustenance engineering (L3 development and L2 Support) teams interacting with diverse stakeholders
5. Apply strong engineering principles to drive the development and delivery of the Hotfix and minor release. This role has ultimate responsibility to manage customer satisfaction and team engagement.
6. Technically hands-on and support and guide the team members in driving the solutions to customers and adopting the best engineering practices for developing software
7. Implement the Agile frameworks (Kanban) in its entirety in the capacity as a flow manager. Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles
8. Experience with automation, excel and data analytics is big plus.
9. Recruit and manage the team - Coach and Mentor the team members on career growth including performance management discussions. Be the evangelist for high performance culture
10. Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback.
11. Report (or contribute in preparing the status report) to Program Steering Committee as per the schedule and agreed upon metrics.
12. Track progress and review project tasks to meet project deadlines.
13. Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer goals.
14. Follow Eurofins policies, procedures and methodologies.

 REQUIRED PROFILE:

Initial Educational Background:

         BE Computer Science or MBA or equivalent degree

Type and duration of previous experience:

·         Minimum 15 years of experience in IT Application/Software Development and maintenance field

·         At least 5+ years of management experience in an IT environment managing new product development and Install base

·         Strong experience in managing Cloud ops. Preferably in Azure

·         Should have handled at least 1 Enterprise Web application projects including its deployment and maintenance

·         Experience with Automation and Performance engineering

·         Past experience in Building and Managing high performance teams

Specific skills required:

Technical knowledge:                               

·         Strong and proven background in Microsoft technologies

·         Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: Scrum and Kanban

·         Strong working experience on Azure cloud

·         Strong working experience in Excel or analytical tools

·         Past experience in handling .NET projects is appreciated; Experience with Web based application development with SOA architecture is desired.

·         Strong orientation towards Technical and functional aspects of the product

·         Strong influencing skills and ability to prioritize the backlog

Desirable experience:

·         Exposure in handling international projects is highly preferred.

·         Excel and TFS knowledge will be highly preferred.

·         ITIL certification is a plus

·         Experience with Automation and Performance engineering
