TITLE:                                           Infrastructure Lead - IT (O365 Administrator)

REPORTING To:                             Manager

WORKING LOCATION:                  Bangalore

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

Objectives for this role:

• As O365 Admin:
  • Participate in IT Infra Segregation and Saasification activities
  • Support and Maintain Office365 instance/s for Genomics Program and all required integrations
  • Should setup a proper AD sync mechanism as required for O365 configuration/management.
  • Automated precise alerting and monitoring of application, infra in Azure Cloud environment
• As Infrastructure Lead:
  • Shall be able to implement infrastructure and configuration of O365 as specified in Eurofins KGDS and guidelines
  • Review the current cloud setup, cloud usage, Monitoring alerts and operational insight setup for application
  • Should be able to represent O365 segregation and setup, in various meetings with Internal and External Information Security and Architects/Experts
  • Should be able to configure O365 environment as per Multi-Region, Multi-Zone, Multi-Site setup needs
  • Should be able to lead O365 team with other Infra Admins in the team
  • Should be able to enable next level of O365 needs specific to Application and Services integrations
  • Review and improvise App/Server in terms of high availability, Reliability, Scalability, Monitoring

RESPONSIBILITIES:                       

Operations Team is responsible for maintaining IT services (e.g.: applications, servers, backup and physical hardware, cloud environment, O365 / Exchange Server). It will be done in collaboration with other IT teams and according to defined processes (e.g. IT Incident Management and IT Change Management).

The IT Infrastructure Lead Administrator should:

Ensure that all IT and O365 Services, managed by Genomics are delivered, configured and maintained effectively. This includes the execution of SOPs and management of IT Incidents, IT Changes and IT Problems in OTRS based on the related processes, procedures and work instructions.

Specific Assignments:

The main responsibilities of the Administrator are:

   IT Operations

   For the IT Services managed by Genomics team:

·        Responsible of operations of the O365, IT Infra and IT Services;

·        Monitor the availability, performance and capacity;

·        Escalate any issue to the IT Operations Manager;

·        Make sure that changes are implemented in a smooth and controlled manner (e.g. Change Management, release procedure and monitoring criteria).

·        IT Incidents, IT Changes and IT Problems are managed according to the existing processes;

·        Execute IT Changes based on standard operations procedures (SOP);

Other Assignments:

·        Participate in the design of Eurofins standards and policies regarding IT Infrastructure services concerning operation;

·        Together with peers, participate to the definition of Eurofins standards and policies;

·        Liaise with other IT teams to design new IT Services.

·        Ensure that Eurofins standards and policies are respected;

·        Implement changes according to Eurofins standards and policies;

·        Make sure that Eurofins standards correctly implemented and followed by his/her own team as well as by each customer supported.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience as Windows Administrator

Required

·        Ensuring the operational health of the environment including security, availability, performance, interoperability and reliability

·        Administration, support and configuration of MS Office O365 for staff, Server Infra

·        Maintenance/sustainment of existing client Servers, SharePoint , lists, libraries, and content (including pages, workflows, and items)

·        Maintenance, and sustainment of additional complementary functionality for customer sub sites, lists, libraries, and content

·        Administer and support an enterprise-level Microsoft Exchange infrastructure ( 0365 )

·        Troubleshoot Exchange related issues when alerted by monitoring software

·        Tenant Migration from other Services like On prem exchange etc..

·        Training/educating end-users on O365 capabilities & collaboration tools (OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, Outlook etc.)

·        Providing end-user support for all PC based hardware, applications and services

·        New user setup and orientation including installing and configuring workstations, software, telephone services, network printing, etc.

·        Maintain and provide support for all IT infrastructure

·        Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support and troubleshooting

·        Troubleshoot OS, network and storage related issues

·        Responsible for logical and physical controls of the company’s IT system by providing, on a quarterly basis, documented assurance that access to computer resources (data, equipment and facilities) is reasonable and restricted to authorized individuals

·        Perform software upgrades and patches (bios, firmware upgrades, etc.)

·        Troubleshoot various Office 365 issues including connectivity and mobility

·        Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports, and manage site collection quota settings

Appreciated

• Extensive knowledge in building and maintaining complete hybrid AD domains
• Experience with Terraform scripting or similar

·        Background as IT System administrator (Windows operating systems, VMware and NetApp) beneficial, as it will leverage mutual understanding with technicians.

• Knowledge about O365 services
• AD Administration   - Access Permission Etc., Authentication Mechanism, LDAP , XAML
• Experience in Backup Solutions like CommVault in combination with Azure Services and Storage Solutions
