Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (A CMMI Level 3 Company) is a 100% full owned subsidiary of Eurofins. This young captive centre located in Bangalore was established in 2012 to be the largest IT Solutions group within Eurofins to cater to all the internal IT business needs. POSITION TITILE: Data Analyst

REPORTING TO: Team Lead

WORK LOCTION: Bangalore

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

The aim of Observability Engineering is to deliver data and knowledge to promote excellence in software development through analysing performance data, educating staff and utilizing performance improvement methodology using the support of leadership and staff empowerment. While monitoring helps us identify whether a system is working, Observability analyses the root cause for a system that is not working.

 POSITION & OBJECTIVES:

Experience:

·         Graduation in Computer Science or any other equivalent degree.

·         3 - 4 Years of relevant work experience in Data Visualizations, Dashboards, and Excel reports. 

·         Understanding of Product Development Lifecycle and Lean Agile Scrum or Kanban Methodologies

·         Excellent Communication, Interpersonal and Presentation skills.

Job description:

 Your job will be to understand complex data structures, elicit user requirements, design KPIs, and provide easy to read dashboards. You will be working mostly with technical data therefore understating IT performance metrics is important at least on a basic level (CPU, Memory, IO metrics. Network metric, etc.) This position requires a good sense of aesthetics and an understanding of UX topics. Creativity is a must. On the interview, you will be asked to design a dashboard therefore please be prepared for it. The approach for visualization is up to you (Excel, Google Doc, pen and paper, etc).

 Technology skills:

Mandatory

·         Proven experience with data visualization, dashboards, and automated reports from various data sources ( JSON, CSV, SQL, etc.,).

·         Having good hands on experience SQL (using SQL for quering data is a must).

·         Good understanding of mathematical and statistical concept for data visualiztion (mean, percentiles, regression, seasonality, trends etc.)

Preferred

·         Programming experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript libraries.

·         Proficient knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods.

·         Familarity with AI and ML algorithms.

·         Familiarity with Elastic stack (former ELK).

·         Knowledge on any Application Performance Monitoring solutions (AppDynamics, NewRelic, DynaTrace, DataDog).

Personal Skills:

·         Effective communication and ability to work with global cross-functional teams.

·         Should be able to work with internal clients for requirements elicitations and presentations.
