This individual will join a group supporting all the routine testing for the analytical sciences. This involves a variety of methods including HPLC, compendial, and UV-Vis. Our day is spent mostly in the lab running samples, processing data, and occasionally troubleshooting instruments. 

Daily Responsibilities Could Include: 

• Utilizing chromatographic, electrophoresis, and spectroscopic methods and instruments to support in-process sample testing
• Preparing buffer and samples for sample testing
• Analyzing and reporting data following GxP requirements
• Designing and performing experiments and scientific studies
• Documentation and presenting scientific findings
• Experience with HPLC and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving 

BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other related scientific discipline.

• Prior wet lab experience
• Experienced in pipetting and using a variety of pipettes
• General understanding of liquid chromatography, electrophoresis, and spectroscopy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Good time management and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work within a team and also in cross-functional setting
• Computer Skills: Outlook, Explorer, Excel, Word

• 45-60 minute virtual interview with the Site Manager

The position is full-time and permanent, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with over time as needed. Candidates living near or in from Gaithersburg, MD are encouraged to apply.
