Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Quality Control (QC) team as a QC Analytical Lab Assistant. In this role, you'll support routine lab testing and help maintain a clean, efficient, and compliant laboratory environment. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to start or grow their career in pharmaceutical quality control.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform routine testing of pharmaceutical samples using standard analytical methods (e.g., pH, osmolality, concentration, break-loose extrusion force)
  • Prepare laboratory standards, reagents, and samples for analysis
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate QC lab instruments and equipment
  • Monitor inventory and restock lab reagents and solutions as needed
  • Document all work accurately to support GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance
  • Follow SOPs with attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Collaborate with team members across departments in a supportive, fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
  • 0–2 years of experience in a quality control or analytical laboratory setting (academic lab work or internships welcome)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures and generate consistent, accurate data in a controlled environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with data analysis software or laboratory applications
  • Quick learner with the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow standard procedures
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a positive and professional attitude
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without restrictions or the need for sponsorship

Additional Information

What to Expect in the Hiring Process: 

  • 10-15 Minute Phone Interview with Region Recruiter
  • 45-60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager and/or Group Leader
  • 30 Minute Virtual Interview with Site Director 

Additional Details: 

The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes requiring shift changes and/or weekend work, and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Andover, MA are encouraged to apply.
