Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Australia / New Zealand provides contract GMP testing to human and animal pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and complimentary medicine manufactures, as well as an extensive range of SPF and other cosmetics testing, both in-vitro and in-vivo in accordance with a range of local and international standards. The range of testing includes microbiological and chemistry on raw materials, in process and finished products, complemented by product formulation services. We operate out of sites in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland, which are all GMP licensed by local regulators and are accredited to ISO 17025. In addition to the provision of world class analytical testing, the laboratories also provide consultative services to their clients made available by a team of highly qualified scientists.
Job Description
The Receptionist is responsible for a range of administrative and accounts receivable tasks, including but not limited to:
Reception & Administrative Duties:
- Greeting visitors: Welcoming guests upon arrival.
- Directing visitors: Guiding them to the appropriate person or department.
- Answering phone calls: Screening and forwarding incoming calls professionally.
- Maintaining the reception area: Ensuring it remains tidy and stocked with necessary materials.
- Providing information: Responding to basic inquiries in person, via phone, or email.
- Handling mail: Receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail and packages.
- Managing security: Monitoring access through the reception desk.
- Scheduling: Updating calendars, arranging meetings, and coordinating travel.
- Office supplies: Managing the purchase of general office supplies.
Accounts Receivable Duties:
- Raising and sending invoices to customers.
- Processing credit memos accurately.
- Posting payments to customer accounts.
- Tracking overdue payments and conducting follow-ups.
- Creating and updating quotations, including data entry.
- Document archiving: Organising and maintaining records as required.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years' experience in Administration, Accounts Receivable or another relevant field.
