Job Description
Summary / Objective
IT Infrastructure Project Managers are responsible for planning, controlling, and monitoring strategic infrastructure projects. They communicate project progress and risks to all stakeholders, support departmental goals, and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
Essential Functions
- Plan, execute, monitor and manage global and/or local infrastructure-based projects from initiation through implementation and transitioning it to a business-as-usual state.
- Coordinate and cooperate with network engineers, systems engineers, solution architects, IT Security and/or Implementation Managers (IM) to ensure timely delivery of defined project deliverables, while managing project teams and activities, monitoring progress, assigning clear ownership of tasks, and proactively removing impediments to maintain project momentum.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, RAID logs, project schedules, and resource allocation in collaboration with a diverse project team.
- Manage multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and resources effectively.
- Identify and request the required resources to deliver projects on-time and within budget.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership via weekly status reports.
- Prepare and submit Project Gate documentation and scope adjustment requests to senior leadership for timely review and approval.
- Coordinate IT Infrastructure, business, and cross-functional teams, including remote and on-site resources to ensure seamless integration of solutions and migration events.
- Ensure compliance with Eurofins IT governance, security, and operational standards.
- Lead post-project evaluations and apply lessons learned to drive ongoing process improvements.
- Organize and preside over scheduled Steering Committee meetings, engaging senior management from both the IT Infrastructure Organization and Businesses to provide strategi oversight.
- Collaborate on PMO process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure timely completion of administrative and compliance requirements, including weekly submission of timecards, monthly expense reporting, and completion of all mandatory training by assigned deadlines.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with PMO and Senior Leadership
- Collaborate with procurement processes as needed.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent IT Project Management experience
- 5+ years of experience managing projects.
Preferred Education and Experience (not required but beneficial)
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Industry and/or leadership certifications (e.g. PMP)
- Knowledge or awareness of GxP compliance requirements and IT Security regulations, along with best practices applicable to the analytical testing laboratory industry.
- Proven track record with successfully enrolled IT projects
- Experience with team management and leadership that span multiple time zones and different cultures.
- Experience managing IT Infrastructure related projects
